To make this forum as nice a place as possible to be, please conform to the following rules:
Roleplaying 1. Swearing. We all let one slip from time to time and so our characters will too. But that does not mean that swearing is permitted when used every second word. Extremely offensive and derogatory terms are NOT allowed.
2. Do not post using chat language. Use proper English (or American) spelling and grammar. If English isn't your first language, I will understand, but please try your hardest. Everyone has a spell-checker somewhere on their computer.
3. Try to keep your posts at least a paragraph at a time. We can get much more interesting information out of it. It's also good practice for more advanced RPGs should any of us ever join one.
4. Everyone has the ability to edit their own posts. Please do not post more than once in a row. If you accidentally post twice in a row, clear the second post and a moderator will delete it.
5. Try to include the name of the character you are roleplaying with in the post, otherwise it may get confusing.
6. Try to post at least once a week, but I would suggest checking at least once a day as sometimes threads can move pretty fast and characters get left behind.
7. If you are going away for a while, tell a moderator or post on the Announcements board. You have the option of letting someone else play your character for you while you are away, or just giving your character a rest for as long as you are away.
8. If you have need of a random henchcat, you are allowed to play one without submitting a character form first, as long as the henchcat doesn't start to take a big role.
9. Rules for Torture Chambers must be read before role-playing there. The rules are in a sticky thread in the board. -DO NOT SHARE THE PASSWORD. Everyone will be given a repeat warning on a Private Message to ensure they fully understand and are prepared to go onto this board.
Profile/Signature 1. No profanity/swearing in signatures please.
2. Please don't name your account after one of the canon characters unless no one already plays that character and you intend to apply.
3. Post the names of the character(s) you have been accepted for in your signature.
4. Please keep signatures smaller than half a screen's height.
Out of Character 1. When not on the OOC boards, please indicate in some way if you are speaking out of character. This could be (brackets), ((double brackets)), //slashes//, italics, anything.
2. You are allowed to advertise your site on the specific board. It doesn't have to be CATS-related, but must be suitable for all ages unless you display an age rating along with it.
3. Try not to argue. If someone is really annoying you, ignore them or contact a moderator.
4. Respect everyone, whatever the situation. Be considerate to other people and basically, be civil to each other.
These rules are subject to change at any time without prior warning.
