Things have changed since the last Jellicle Ball. After the celebrations had stopped, the red tom came back, taking complete control of the junkyard. Mag squeezed his eyes; he was half dragging, half carrying Electra in direction to the hollow who obviously was on the edge now giving birth to their kittens. Though he had no clue about what a queen felt in these moments the spotted hench cat was certain it would be painful ... and that he would be forced to listen to her cries without doing something against it! Just the thought nearly drove him insane.
"Everything will get fine, dear", Magnarion whispered with dropped ears. He couldn't say for sure of course but probably he was as excited as Electra was right now: "HELLO? Is there anyone?" His loud call cut through the dark night like a knife.

" OK Mag." Electra said through clenched teeth, trying not to scream from the pain. Over the past few months, her stomach had been growing at an enormous rate. The queen's belly seemed almost, abnormally large at this point. Mag and she were going on a walk before talking about what not... but the kit when Ellie began to go into labor.
Arms latched around Magnorion's neck, She kissed him on the cheek, keeping her eyes squeezed shut. " I love you I love you." She really did. But to Mag, it probably sounded like " ah wuv wu,ah wuv wu" through her teeth. She let her jaws relax, only to say: " No matter what happens, I will love you Magnarion. For ever." The poor queen had heard many stories about queens who died in labor, so she was very nervous. When her mate yelled out for help, The tabby was relieved to finally have an excuse to scream. " IS ANYONE THERE? I'M GIVING BIRTH GOD-DAMNIT!" The pain was almost unbearable. Her head pounded, it felt like every part of her body was screaming and writhing in pain. She just wanted it to stop.

Jellylorum had been asleep in her caravan. Had. But even with the hollow on the other side of the yard, she had still been able to hear Electra and Magnarion. Why would no one let her get any rest? She'd delievered more kittens than enough this week, and after loosing her own due to a miscarridge no more than a few months ago, it felt like Bast was trying to rub salt into her wounds. What made it worse was, for the first time, she had her daughter and her grandchildren with her, for the first time in months.
She shuffled out of bed, leaving Taillefer with her triplets, trying not to disturb them as she moved out of the van and towards the hollow. She kept yawning, too tired to do anything right now. "Can you not wait a few hours?" She mumbled, slipping down into the hollow to Electra's side. "And why didn't you go somewhere cleaner, like your mother's den?" She yawned, seeming barely phased by Electra's screaming.

Listening to Electra's love confession, that she in fact could feel yet other things excerpting the pain, was indescribable consoling. Because as much as Mag wanted their kittens to be well, much more he wished the same for his mate. The spotted hench cat started to purr to deviate Electra just a little bit from the pain caused by labor. Nevertherless his ears jerked heavy when Electra herself was screaming for help.
"No, calm down, dear! The kits! Don't get excited!" Electra's left arm laid around his shoulders his paw holding hers, his right arm around her waist. Randomly Mag's other paw slid over her stomach and felt a strong kick. Finally the sharp of another queen came to sight and the male sighed relieved. But at her words Magnarion flattened his ears and growled fury.
"NO, SHE CAN'T WAIT! AND YOU WILL HELP HER NOW!" He became pretty loud again not because of desperation but of anger. Maybe it was even a mix of both ... and he got the strong feeling to slash this tired, ignorant body. But excerpting that Mag couldn't release just one of his paws - Electra was more important. The tom couldn't remember a time he felt that helpless like tonight.

As Jellylorum emerged from her den, Electra was obviously relieved. " Oh Lor thank Everlasting that you came." But was immediately silenced my her asking if she could wait for hours. Anger welled inside of the tabby " Excuse me? Do you think I can wait? I'M GIVING BIRTH!" Of course she was very frustrated, mostly because her hormones from well... going through unbearable pain, but even if Electra hadn't been in pain, she would still be mad at Lor's comment. Ellie turned around to face Magnarion. " Yes honey, I'll calm down." She said almost in sarcasm, with a wide smile. " But could you maybe set me down sweety, so I can actually give birth?" Ellie tried not to sound rude to her lovely mate, but seeing as she was going into labor, she was sure he would understand.

Jellylorum simply stared at the neandathal tom in casual disbelief. "You keep shouting and I'll leave you too it. You're lucky that I've come, since no one else seems to be popping up. Most don't get help their first time around." She said in a quite matter-of-facty manner. She was tired. No one pissed Lor off when she was tired if they wanted help. Electra was a very cheeky girl, and her friend didn't seem much nicer. A little dim and testosterone controlled too. "Lord..."
She scooped her arms beneath Electra before either of the pair could bat and eyelid. She would have dumb and dumber giving birth in the mud. She scrambled from the hollow with Electra in her arms and to her caravan, all the way to the bathroom of the van, where she gently lowered Electra to the floor. "See. Clean." She said sarcastically. She went to get towers, then some water, before sitting down by the queen. "Have your contractions started yet?"

Mag stiffled himself with much effort to not to give the queen another quiet, threatening growl; she seemed to be practiced and obviously knew much better than himself what to do now. So the spotted tom released Electra into her arms and followed both queens to the entrance of the van, tilting his head with a slight smirk. Probably this wasn't a place where hench cats made good company!
"You will excuse me if I want to stay with my mate now?" The sarcasm in his voice was audible when he entered the room.

Electra's head was pounding almost too much to bear to say anything, or feel anything else. She tried to concentrate on staying calm, but it was seriously hard. She replied to Lor in a different approach this time. Though clenched teeth, she said. " sorry." Hoping she would just shut up.
Once they got inside the caravan, the queen was relieved to think that it was almost over, but she was misinformed. Ellie tried to ignore the comment from Jellylorum's end, but she couldn't, with all of her hormones. She glared up and growled. Then she looked up into her mates eyes, and it almost felt to her like all of the pain was gone. Not only from her, but from the world. The tabby was reminded again of how wonderful her mate was. Despite the growl, Ell replied to the opposing queen, almost calmly. The power of Mag's golden eyes! " Um... well I've never given birth before... but I think so..." The JEllicle began to tense again, but the world was softened again by the love's voice. In hopefulness, of being alone with Manga, or the world being no pain, just love for just a few moments, she looked up at the caregiver.

"Of course you can stay with her, as long as you're as quiet and supporting as possible." She said with the most hidden eye roll she could manage. She gave a soft growl back to Electra, not approving of her behaviour. Kids were so annoying nowadays. "Fine, when you feel another, just push. But try to stay calm and relax. I know its difficult, but once all this is over, you'll have a little one in your arms and you'll forget the pain."
All the commotion had woken Taillefer, who sleepily shuffled into the room clutching her youngest daughter close to her, yawning constantly. "Momma...?" She rarely called Jellylorum by anything that resembled 'mother', but being so tired, she couldn't help it. Before Lor could say anything, Tai shuffled to sit down by Electra's side, the one not near Magnarion. She gave Electra a quick peck on the temple. "Baby day, huh, Elle? You'll be fine." She took her paw, held it gently.

Mag gritted his teeth for he practically could do nothing actual, said nothing to reply and went inside the caravan. When the spotted male spotted Taillefer and the kit in her arms he smirked; Lucky thing, had already passed through the whole matter! He wasn't very surprised that she greeted Electra like a friend and dodged away from him. Snorting nearly inaudible Magnarion nodded with a smile and took Electra's paw in a tender but tight grip.
Reassuring and and secure how he intentioned.
"Hopefully you're right. Electra will need it if both come to earth healthy." Mag couldn't help but doubtful bit his lips; giving birth to one kitten probably was taking away much strength, how would that be with two? The male shook his head shortly unbelieving.

Electra nodded at Jellylorum's direction. She was scared. Not of the pain. Queens have died in childbirth. She did not want to leave this world. Leave Magnarion. Tears welled up into her eyes at the thought of it, and she squeezed Mag's paw harder. When Taillefer entered the room, she couldn't help but smile. A queen with a kit. The other queen was OK. That calmed her down when Tai spoke. " Thanks" Ellie smiled. That's when she felt it. Another... contraction? Was that the word Jellylorum used? Well, whatever it was, it came. And with all of her might, she pushed. Gripping her mates hand she experienced the worst pain she was ever experienced. Many queens had said it would be, but Elle didn't realize what hey meant. The Jellicle could hold it in no longer. With her eyes squeezed shut, she gave a scream and didn't care who heard it. The pain stopped a little, but not entirely. It seemed as if some was out. The queen looked to Jellylorum with sweat dripping down her cheeks. " How am I doing?"

Taillefer saw the look on Electra's face, and the gentle squeeze of the strange tom's paw. She knew the signs and instantly clamped her paws over her little one's ears, pinning her own back just as the other queen screamed. Fortunately, Jellylorum had just shut the door tight, keeping the noise from her sleeping grandchildren in the other room. Aoide went quiet, suddenly frightened by the sudden lack of noise and the screech that pierced her muted hearing. The kitten wriggled on her mother's raised knees, squirming to get closer.
Taillefer scooped her up holding her against her own chest, letting the child play with her hair. "You're doing great, Elle. Don't worry. I had three, this is the youngest." She was immensley proud of herself, and the fact that her first little had consisted of three, healthy kittens. She prayed that Electra had less, though. One would be enough for the younger girl.
Jellylorum gentle dabbed the pregnant queen's face, removing the sweat. "You're doing good, sweety. Further along that I though, actually. I can already see a head. You just need a couple more big pushes, and you might be done." That was, of course, if she only had one.

Mag wrinkled his nose, still holding Electra's paw when he observed his mate working through the whole matter. His tousled ears jerked heavily at her scream like the tom had never heard a queen screaming. Ballari and Carabosse came to his mind but this wasn't any comparison in his eyes now to the dark tabby. Magnarion started to purr very loud to deviate her and turned around to Jellylorum. The spotted male didn't care if she noticed how he tensed again but Mag took all of his effort to not freak out again. With because of excitement and worries the hench male bared teeth and hesitated shortly; the simple word hardly came out of his mouth.
"Everlasting ... tell me finally what to do." It was neither the tone of giving an introduction in his voice nor a beg. In the meanwhile Mag got the feeling that it probably a mix of desperation and the anger about that Electra needed to go through all this pain.
